It all began back in 2008—four new moms, a bunch of toddlers, and the beautiful chaos of early motherhood. We first found each other through the family education programs at CFI* in Menlo Park, where play schedules, snack-time treats, and deep conversations somehow fit into the same hour. Those weekly gatherings became our lifeline—a rhythm of support.

We discovered that when women come together with open hearts and shared values, magic happens. Community, it turns out, doesn’t just help you survive motherhood— it helps you thrive as a human.

Fast forward a decade (and then some): Now, with our kids off to college, everyone in our world seemed to be going in different directions and our homes can be... a little too quiet. As we looked around, we realized something surprising—while there’s plenty out there for new moms, there’s almost nothing for women navigating the wild, wonderful unknown of the next chapter. Where was the support now? The community? The connection?

So, we decided to create it. Swandive was born from our desire to gather women who, like us, are standing at the edge of something new. It may have nothing to do with motherhood, but we're ready to leap, wings spread, into reinvention and freedom.

We’re so grateful to be diving into this journey together. This way, we can champion each other as we take the plunge into life’s next adventure. And maybe laugh a little (or a lot) along the way.​
